Our region of France is blessed with an abundance of good places to eat, both for lunch and dinner, all year round. Something for every taste can be found here, but the speciality of the whole region is the superb seafood of all types that can be found virtually everywhere. Seafood lovers - you've arrived in paradise!! The idea of this page is to give you an idea of the type of restaurants/brasseries/cafés that are available in our area. Scroll down, and see what takes your fancy!!

First of all - one of the most popular destinations in La Baule town for lunch and dinner, the management team at "La Croisette" welcome you to their restaurant only 200yds from the beach. La Croisette is open from 1100am to midnight 7 days a week, and is located at 31, Place du Maréchal Leclerc, 44500, La Baule - tel: +33-240-607300.

Or if you prefer, you can eat inside. Inside or outside, you will be well looked after by the welcoming team at "La Croisette".

An interesting aerial view of "La Croisette" restaurant taken from the Anglais-Volant microlight aircraft. You can see the boat-shaped form of the building just to the left of the mini- roundabout.

Only about 200yds further north, at 44, Avenue de Général de Gaulle, you will find the "Pavillon de la Mer" restaurant. Open from midday to midnight, all year round, "Le Pavillon" is another focal point for social life in La Baule. "Le Pavillon" can be contacted on 0033-240-602321.

"Le Pavillon" offers a wide range of French cuisine, including all the local types of sea food, which you can see being enjoyed by the people at the table in the foreground.

Another 400yds north along the same road, you will find the "Salisbury", another very nice restaurant, but this time fitted out in the style of an English Pub. As with the other restaurants we have described here, the team at the "Salisbury" will make sure that you feel very welcome. They can also offer you a full range of French Cuisine with a very good range of fish dishes normally available. The "Salisbury" is at 159, Avenue Général de Gaulle, and their telephone number is 0033-240-600989.
Finally, perfectly placed along the seafront, at one of the most popular destinations for Anglais-Volant customers, William here will offer you a warm welcome at his créperie "Les Sablons". Along with a full range of galettes (savoury crepes) and sweet crepes, "Les Sablons" offers a wide choice of seafood dishes.
