.......à droite, l'aérodrome de La Baule d'une altitude de 6000m - le plus haut que notre instructor a jamais volé! Ce vol était effectué en solo en 1995 avec notre appareil à l'époque de seulement 55cv, la durée étant de 1h15min entre décollage et atterrissage. Cependant, les ULMs ne sont pas juste capable de voler très haut mais très loin aussi. Chaque année, beaucoup d'ULMs arrivent ici de plusieurs points de départ en Grande-Bretagne ou Irlande, soit pour un séjour à La Baule, ou en escale pendant les voyages encore plus loin.
Même aujpurd'hui, il y a de gens qui pensent toujours que les ULMs peuvent seulement voler 'lentement et pas très haut'. De nos jours, rien est plus loin de la vérité! La photo ici de la baie de La Baule d'une altitiude de 4000m en ULM montre le contraire - mais même ceci n'est pas la limite pour un ULM pendulaire haute de gamme.....
Captivant à piloter, l'ULM moderne est suffisamment fiable qu'il puisse faire régulièrement les vols en sécurité que vous voyez sur cette page et les autres. Un autre exemple - à droite la fille Gemma de notre chef instructor à l'âge de 10ans en 1996 avec notre appareil à l'époque, ayant juste terminé le vol Londres à Belle-Ile avec son papa! A notre connaissance, Gemma est toujours la personne la plus jeune qui a jamais fait la traversée de La Manche en ULM pendulaire.
Performance de nos ULMs:-
Idées cadeaux à l'année... anniversaires, Noël, retraite, autre motifs... achetez un bon-cadeau pour un de vos proches ou collègues de travail... baptêmes de €65/30min, €120/60min... première leçon €120/60min... les bons peuvent être envoyés par email ou courrier...
... et à gauche, pendant une leçon, à 3000m d'altitude, ayant trouvé une trouée dans les nuages. Et ci-dessous notre GT450 photographié en vol de notre Blade 912 à une altitude de 4000m pendant un vol entre La Baule et l'Ile d'Yeu. Les altitudes comme celles-ci sont considérées assez banales dans les ULMs pendulaires, mais sont beaucoup plus difficiles pour les avions légers.
