About La Baule airfield  (LFRE):-

At our reception area shown here on the right, you will have a warm welcome to our beautiful aerodrome. We gladly accept aircraft of every type ranging from microlights up to twin-engined business jets. The photo above shows why it is such a popular destination. On arrival you are well placed to reach the many activities available in our region. Find out more about these activities by using the navigation bar on the left.

  

On the left you can see our fully equipped reception area with up-to-date weather information, internet, fax and photocopying facilities. Below is listed the airfield information:-

  • Operating hours (local time) between 1st Sept and 30th June are 0900hrs - 1200hrs, 1330hrs - 1900hrs, every day (except Tuesdays) inc. every weekend and bank holidays. Operating hours (local time) between 1st July and 31st August are 0845hrs - 2000hrs (continual)
For those just wishing to come to our airfield while already at La Baule, please feel free to come and visit. There is a bar/brasserie on the aerodrome, Jazz Volant, with a viewing terrace where you can sit with a drink or something to eat while you watch the comings and goings at the airfield. There's always something going on!! From visiting aircraft such as the two shown below, banner towing, students having lessons in light aircraft or microlights, or come and have a look round the aircraft museum on site, "Ailes Anciennes". 
This caused a sensation when it arrived - a WW2 Corsair!
